Former TNA Champ Back with WWE, SmackDown Note and More

– Former TNA X Division Champion Low Ki, who recently dropped New Japan Pro Wrestling’s IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship was backstage at last night’s Florida Championship Wrestling event and won a match against Trent Baretta. It looks like Low Ki may be signed to a WWE developmental deal. There were rumors back last year that and , among others, were pushing for the company to sign him. One idea being pushed to writers for his debut would see him come in under a mask and feud with Mysterio.

– Due to some conflicts with New York Yankees baseball, My-9 WWOR TV in New York is expecting the following preemption’s for WWE Smackdown in 2009: 6.26.09, 8.28.09 and 9.25.09. There will also be a preemption on 4.10.09, due to the New York Nets having a game scheduled for the network that evening.

– The February 9th WWE Raw tapings in Oakland, California has a main event of vs. scheduled.
