Possible SmackDown Match, Maryse Update, MVP, More

– The RAW live event at Madison Square Garden last night was a legit sell out. No return date was announced but they did hype the SmackDown tapings in East Rutherford, NJ this week with Jeff Hardy vs. Edge vs. Triple H in the main event.

– There were no fireworks at the RAW show at MSG last night because WWE got into the building right after a New York Knicks game and didn’t have time to get the pyro set up. New York Mets General Manager Omar Minyana and his family were sitting front row for the show.

– Dave Meltzer reports that while the Maryse injury reported last night may be legit, WWE has been shooting injury angles with the Divas at live events as of late. We hope to have an injury update or more details on Maryse later today.

– WWE did an angle at SmackDown live events over the weekend where MVP lost to Kizarny and took the mic afterward, saying he “quit.” Kizarny is set to debut on TV at the SmackDown tapings this Tuesday and I’d hope they wouldn’t have his first win be over MVP.
