- Regarding Tomko’s bad WWE dark match before RAW a few weeks back, one source says that Tomko wasn’t ready to wrestle when he was called for TV but didn’t want anyone to know, so he came anyway. Vince was mad that Tomko showed up not looking so great after being gone so long and being signed just weeks earlier. Once Vince found out he was injured, he let John Laurinaitis have it because he didn’t want talent working injured like that for just a dark match. Laurinaitis told Vince he didn’t know about the injury before booking him but Vince didn’t like that explanation, saying it’s the job of the talent relations department to know when talents are hurt. It took Stephanie McMahon to eventually calm Vince down that night.

- As noted earlier, WWE is bringing back the Superstars name for a one-hour weekly prime time show to air on the WGN network beginning in April. WGN has wanted a wrestling franchise for some time now and were in talks with TNA before Spike TV signed them. They were also in talks with ROH at one time but those talks never went anywhere. When WWE’s SmackDown left the CW network, WWE talked with WGN about carrying SmackDown but went with MyNetworkTV because it offers more exposure. No more details are available yet on the new Superstars show.
