– WWE’s website has confirmed the report earlier this week of Batista’s hamstring tear. They’re using the storyline that while out of action due to a “concussion” from Randy Orton’s punt kick, Batista has decided to have surgery on the tear. WWE claims that the tear took place at SummerSlam of this year, but sources within WWE have confirmed that the injury happened on the recent European tour. Perhaps they’re playing the SummerSlam card to add to the build with John Cena when Batista is able to return. Batista will be going to Birmingham, Alabama to see Dr. Jeffrey Dugas this coming Friday for the operation at the Andrew Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center. WWE also says Batista had a bone graft in his jaw this past Monday after having two of his teeth removed from the punt kick of Orton’s. Word is that Batista actually had his Wisdom teeth removed, which he had been planning to do for a few weeks now.
