Update on Bad WWE PPV’s, WWE Diva on TV, Colin, More

– RF Video will be releasing a shoot interview with former ECW Superstar Colin Delaney. For the first time, Delaney will discuss his rise to fame in World Wrestling Entertainment and how he captured the hearts of millions all across the world. He will discuss how he got his break in WWE, working with the likes of Tommy Dreamer, Big Daddy V, John Morrison, The Miz, Kane & Mark Henry, his stay in the ECW brand, and more. And that’s not all. Here is a brief description of the interview: “Why did Colin turn heel on his best friend? What was it like to do promos with Vince? Who did he travel with and how hard was it keeping his spot in the WWE. He was only in the WWE for 8 months but everyone will remember the name Colin Delaney.”

– As reported earlier, this year’s Cyber Sunday pay-per-view drew an estimated total of 104,000 pay-per-view buys in North America (162,000 overall), making it the third lowest purchased pay-per-view in company history. If you’re wondering which two shows did worse, they are December to Dismember (2006) and an “In Your House” pay-per-view event in December 1996, “In Your House 12: It’s Time.” The December to Dismember event was a complete disaster, drawing 90,000 pay-per-view buys, with 55,000 of them domestic — the lowest buyrate in company history. The “In Your House” event featured Sycho Sid defeating Bret Hart to retain the WWF Championship.

– Devin sent word that the following matches are being advertised for WWE SmackDown’s live event on 1/9/2008 in Hot Springs, Arkansas: Jeff Hardy vs. Edge for the WWE Title, Triple H vs. Vladimir Kozlov in a Street Fight and The Big Show vs. The Great Khali.
