- The death of former WWE developmental talent Steve Bradley has been picked up by local media in the New England area. As of this writing, WWE has yet to cover the passing of a talent who was signed to the company from 1998 until 2002.

- Variety reports the return of WWE’s Slammy Awards is “part of a strategy by WWE to air more specials as a way to continue boosting the brand’s profile with audiences.” The strategy includes the recent Saturday Night Main Events and the upcoming “Tribute to the Troops” shows, both on NBC. “It won’t be another 11 years before we do another Slammy’s,” said WWE executive of marketing Geof Rochester. Variety says it will depend on the ratings for tonight’s show whether it will become an annual event again.
