– The name of the proposed Mick Foley sitcom has been officially changed from “Hey Dude!” to “Have A Nice Day!”. Part of the reason for the name change was to avoid confusion with the old Nickelodeon show that shared the same name. “Have A Nice Day!” is of course the name of the first autobiography by Mick Foley, a book that was a New York Times best seller and also paved the way for more wrestling books to be published.

– November 15th, 2008 was announced to be “Ric Flair Day” in the city of Norfolk, complete with a document signed by Norfolk Mayor Paul D. Fraim. Flair was in the area working an Q&A session that was set up by Vanguard Championship Wrestling, along with Seven City Productions and Highspots.com. The show saw a host of former Mid-Atlantic Stars in appearance, including: Ricky Morton of the Rock ‘n Roll Express, The Barbarian, Bobby Eaton of the Midnight Express, “Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez, and “The Perfect 10″ Baby Doll.
