After RAW Notes, SmackDown Rating Record, WM 25 Update

- Cary sent the following: What happened after RAW went off the air last night is that came back out and rolled back in the ring. had a steel chair and was about to hit HBK with it after they got into it. HBK laid him out with sweet chin music before ending the night with celebrating with the fans.

- SmackDown from this past Friday night, 11/7, set a MyNetwork TV record with 1.6 million viewers among adults 18-49. The show also came in ahead of NBC’s 1.1 rating in the key demographic.The show averaged a 2.1 household rating overall, and also set MNTV viewership records among adults 18-34, adults 25-24, and key male demographics.

- WWE is planning a big promotional campaign to try and boost its pay-per-view buys for 25 which will include “an aggressive array of traditional marketing tactics” according to Multichannel News. The push will include cross-channel spots, ad spots, Web banners, on-hold messages, telemarketing and e-blasts. This was revealed during the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing Summit which is being held in Boston, MA. There will also be a national sweepstakes supported with WWE’s TV programming, publications and online outlets. Several WWE Superstars and Divas will get on the road for appearances at retail stores and top restaurants in key markets which will be set up in partnership with local cable operators in the area.
