TNA iMPACT News; Foley’s Announcement, Knockouts, More

- Here’s a breakdown for the 10/23 edition of TNA’s iMPACT, which was the live from Vegas show that did a 1.13 rating with 1.6 million viewers…

The Booker T promo with the Legends Championship and Christian Cage gained 28,000 viewers while the Jay Lethal vs. Sheik Abdul Bashir match and the promo with Samoa Joe and AJ Styles lost 99,000 viewers. The tag team gauntlet match gained 85,000 viewers and the promo with Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett gained 71,000 more viewers. The Knockouts matches have been usually the high points of the shows but the match with Taylor Wilde vs. Awesome Kong actually lost 113,000 viewers. The match with Sting and Kevin Nash vs. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles gained 71,000 viewers.

The final segment with Mick Foley’s big announcement did a 1.31 quarter rating, which would be the best final segment quarter ia  long time and one of the highest, if not the highest ever. The segment gained 297,000 viewers over the Sting/Nash vs. Joe/Styles match.
