– As noted before, WWE is bringing back former talents Chris Cage and Ryan Reeves to work in developmental.

Cage, who resembles a young , was originally supposed to form a babyface tag team with with the idea of them being an updated version of The Rockers or Rock & Roll Express. However, while filming a series of introductory vignettes at Spring Break in South Padre Island, Cage wound up in no condition to perform and WWE just figured it wasn’t a good sign of things to come if he was on the road with a push.

Reeves, who was on the 2004 Tough Enough program, previously did an gimmick in OVW but was cut by WWE during the steroid crackdown after he failed a test or two.
