- This week’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi scored a 1.2 cable rating. The number is up from last week’s 1.1 figure in the show’s debut at the 9:00 p.m. time slot.

- Scotty Goldman has posted a blog on the WWE Universe site talking about what dream match he’d like to see. He says his dream match is true dream match in that it can only happen in a dream. Goldman wrote: “Listen… we can all come on the internet (its on computers now!) and say we wanna see matches like: Hogan vs. Stone Cold, Ryder/Hawkins vs. Rock N’ Roll Express, Ricky Ortiz vs. Kamala. But the thing is, these matches could actually happen. More than likely they wont, but it’s never say never. Ya know what I mean? (I know quite a few indy promoters who’d love to put on that last one, believe me). For me, a dream match is what it says it is. It can only be done in a dream…” He then lists his dream match as Kimbo Slice vs. Big Bird.

- WWE shipped 164,000 DVD’s for the month of August. The Rock DVD is ranked #4 for the year with 200,000 units shipped to date. The top three are WrestleMania 24 with 314,000, Triple H’s DVD at 239,000 and Steve Austin’s DVD at 228,000. Numbers for the Ric Flair DVD should be here in a few weeks.
