– WWE held a tryout down at Ohio Valley Wrestling this past week and “The Professor” Gavin Garrison was signed to a developmental deal. Garrison has also previously wrestled for Derby City Wrestling.

– When WWE Champion appeared on Good Day New York last week to promote SmackDown’s move to MyNetwork TV, one of the hosts caled him a wrestler. told them he’s not a wrestler and said he is a Superstar. The hosts asked him what happens if they call him a wrestler and he said then they would have to wrestle.

– WWE is doing the voting for their Cyber Suday pay-per-view a little different this year. In previous years, fans could log on to WWE.com and cast their votes for the various match stipulations. This year, in order to cast your vote, you have to send a text message on your mobile device. The charge is $.99 per vote plus standard text messaging rates. Obviously WWE won’t get the 13 million votes that they touted last year, but they will definitely make a nice little chunk of change off this.
