- Batista’s promotional appearances in India have generated Great Khali-like buzz, with The Animal making an appearance with students who won a contest to hang out with the WWE Superstar. IndianTelevision.com notes that Batista “spoke about self-development and emphasised the importance of education as the cornerstone of success.

- Showbiz Ireland, who always keeps tabs on WWE developmental talent Sheamus O’Shaunessy, published an article this morning on Sheamus capturing the FCW Heavyweight Title last night in Tampa from ECW Superstar Jack Swagger.

- The word making the rounds within WWE is that the company doesn’t consider the Jeff Hardy incident a major issue and as noted before, probably won’t be taking any action on him. There’s a feeling among the WWE talents that the company feels they can only push Hardy so far before there’s a good chance of it backfiring on them. Apparently Hardy was aware as early as that same evening that no major action would be taken.

- Due to the devastation that Hurricane Ike left behind, WWE has again pushed back the on-sale date for WrestleMania 25 tickets. Fans will be able to purchase seats on November the 8th now.
