WWE Weekend News & Notes; Punk Update, Y2J, More

- WWE issued new cards for their RAW live events this weekend and CM Punk will not be appearing on the shows. RAW runs tonight in Texarkana, Arkansas at the Four States Fair Entertainment Center. Fans can get free admission to the fair with tickets to RAW. Matches advertised for the show include Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane vs. JBL, Santino Marella vs. Charlie Haas, Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes vs. Cryme Tyme and Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James.

RAW also runs tomorrow night in Little Rock with the following matches: Chris Jericho vs. JBL vs. Batista, Charlie Haas vs. Santino Marella, Beth Phoenix vs. Mickie James, Rey Mysterio vs. Kane where the fans pick the stipulation, DiBiase, Rhodes and Manu vs. Kofi Kingston and Cryme Tyme, Jim Duggan vs. Snitsky, William Regal vs. Jamie Noble, D-Lo Brown vs. Jack Swagger and Jillian Hall is announced as the host for the show.

RAW finishes the weekend on Sunday in Jackson, Tennessee with Chris Jericho, Kane, Batista, Rey Mysterio and JBL advertised as appearing.

SmackDown has tonight off but runs Saturday night in Monroe, Louisiana with Triple H, The Undertaker, Khali, MVP, Matt Hardy, Mark Henry, Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, Evan Bourne and Michelle McCool appearing. The brands run again on Sunday in Jackson, Mississippi and on Monday night in Montgomery, Alabama with Triple H and Undertaker vs. MVP and Khali along with Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry.
