Mick Foley Speaks on Wrestling for TNA, Appearing on FOX, WWE, More

– Mick Foley has announced on his MySpace page that he will be appearing on FOX’s “Kitchen Nightmares” on Thursday at 9PM EST. Foley wrote, “I urge you to tune in to see my gritty performance as one of Dee Snider’s table guests as Chef Gordon Ramsay makes a courageous attempt to transform the Handlebar Restaurant and Lounge.” Foley also commented on how working with TNA will affect his legacy in the business. “Well, I guess that remains to be seen,” he said. “Most successes are based on a series of taking chances.”

Foley also appeared on the Between The Ropes radio show Tuesday night and talked about his jump from WWE to TNA. Foley said he was surprised he was pulled from WWE’s Legends of WrestleMania game and from the WWE Alumni page on their website. Foley said it was somewhat flattering because WWE was going through all this trouble so it must be a big deal.

Foley also said he is open to the idea of a long-term relationship with TNA. “It’s short-term now, but it could lead to something long-term down the road depending on how we each like working with the other,” he said. Foley added that there’s a good chance he’ll end up working a match for TNA. “I think if things go well, you’ll eventually see me in the ring,” he said.

Foley also confirmed the reports from this weekend that he got lost on his way to the ring at the TNA show in New York. “I was just going to come out and wave and not necessarily say anything, but once I realized that I’d passed Earl Hebner twice, I realized that I better say something,” he said. “It was a little strange, but it has to get better from there.”
