– The reason for WWE canceling the 10/17 show in Aguascalientes, Mexico is because they sold less than 500 tickets so far. The reason being told to the public is that the local promotion claimed that they didn’t realize they booked an outdoor stadium and were afraid of bad weather. There is talk of WWE adding a second date to Arena Monterrey, which they run the night before on 10/16.
– The WWE TV tapings this past week in Wilkes-Barre and Pittsburgh were far more organized and less stressful than the TV tapings the week before where Vince was on one of his rampages. The shows were written earlier this time around and Vince was in a much better mood, which usually are the two keys to having a good set of tapings.
– To update you on Joey Mercury’s rumored WWE return, he is not taking any independent bookings after December, so he must be confident that he is returning. He announced at an indy show about a week ago that he would be returning to WWE in December with Christian York as a tag team. One would think that York would have to change his name in case Christian Cage ever came back to the company.
